RUMFORD – Black Mountain of Maine, its ski patrol and the Chisholm Ski Club are inviting the public to join a work day at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. Lunch will be provided.

Some of this year’s endeavors include general cleaning, building a new shed and outdoor pressure washing. Residents with four-wheelers are needed to assist the ski patrol place new trail signs.

There will be an evening of entertainment featuring Maine’s traditional urban folk band, the Swampdonkeys, comprised of Ted Tibbitts, Michael Hayashida and John Gunn, who play an array of instruments from the mandolin, guitar, fiddle, ukulele, and bodhran.
