RUMFORD – Frances May Irish, 81, of South Main Street, Andover, formerly of Windham, died Sunday, Oct. 5, at Rumford Hospital.
She was born in Topsham, April 9, 1927, one of 10 children of Edgar and Mary Garland White. She worked at Sebago Moc Shoe Co. for 10 years and for Esther Staples for 10 years.
Survivors include five children and their spouses, Donna and Everett Mayberry of Andover, Jeanne Rouse of Andover, Leo and Brenda Irish of Andover, Viola and Francis Yates of Andover and Neil and Barbara Irish of Lyman; one brother, James White of Connecticut; five granddaughters, Tammy, Pamela, Lynn, Samantha and Sara; four grandsons, Dean, Daniel, Toby and Travis; five great-grandchildren, Whitney, MacKenzie, Madison, Daniel, Elden; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Neal K. Irish; and son-in-law, Mahlon C. Rouse of Oklahoma.
