LUBBOCK, TEXAS – Shawn G. Garey, who passed away Oct. 1, at 39 years of age, was born in Lewiston, July 6, 1969, and moved to Denison, Texas, in 1987, where he met his surviving wife, Stacey Williams Garey of Lubbock, Texas.

He enjoyed his life and many friends and donated his organs so someone else can carry on with their life.

He is so much missed by us all.

He is survived by his father, Robert Garey and stepmother, Anne Marie Garey; twin sister, Sherri Cary of Denison, Texas; nephew, Christopher Cary of Denison; brothers and sisters in Maine, Ronnie Garey of Lewiston, Michael Garey and wife, Jackie, of Mechanic Falls, Scott Garey and wife, Tammy, of Minot, Brenda Garey Longton of Turner, Laura Chevalier of Monmouth, Dorothy Wilbur and husband, Bruce, of Sabattus, Barbara Chadburn and husband, Brock, of Sabattus and Corinna Chevalier of Portland; he had nine nieces and nephews.

He worked at Burlington Coat Factory in Lubbock, Texas.

His mother, Beverly Garey, preceded him in death.
