AUBURN – Fire officials will lead a seminar on safe wood burning practices at 6 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Auburn Public Library.

The seminar and discussion is open to the public, and everyone is invited to attend. Organizers are asking those interested in calling 784-543, ext. 22, to let them determine room size and how many informational handouts to bring.

Auburn Fire Department officials will discuss general fire safety, the proper installation and use of wood stoves and chimney safety and maintenance. A question and answer session is scheduled, as well.
