AUBURN – Delores I. Lavoie, 89, formerly of Fletcher Road, Auburn, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, with her family at her side at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice.

She was born in Chisholm, on Oct. 29, 1918, a daughter to the late Napoleon and Elise (Cote) Lepage. She married the love of her life, Paul E. Lavoie on Dec. 29, 1945. He predeceased her in January 1996.

She worked for many years as a seamstress at Leblanc Cleaners. She was a member of St. Louis Parish and Dames of St. Anne’s. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, sewing and quilting but most of all loved spending time with her family.

She leaves two daughters, Joline Cook and her husband, Brian, of Calais and Joyce Comeau and her husband, Donald, of Carrabassett Valley; a daughter-in-law, Monita Lavoie of Cumberland; and six grandchildren, Brent Cook and his wife, Kathy, Daniel Cook and his wife, Aya, Erin Cook, Chelsea Comeau, Jason Lavoie and his wife, Kristen and Chris Lavoie.

She was predeceased by a son, Laurier Lavoie; a brother, John Lepage; and four sisters, Alma Ouellette, Bernadette Lapointe, Germaine Dubois and Simonne Ouellette.
