SOUTH PORTLAND (AP) – Wright Express Corp. is the latest Maine company to announce layoffs.
The company says it is laying off 22 of its 730 employees. Twelve of the people work in the company’s headquarters in South Portland.
Wright Express provides payment processing and information management services to commercial and government vehicle fleets nationwide. The company blames high gas prices and the economic slowdown.
