Between Friday, Oct. 3, and Thursday, Oct. 9, at 7 a.m. this department has responded to 654 calls for service. Of those calls, 195 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

A business sign for the Pop-Shoppe diner as well as human feces was left on the front porch of 56 Elm St. overnight Oct. 3-4.

A vehicle parked at Oak Ledge Apartments at 196 Randall Road had two tires slashed overnight Oct. 4-5.

A vehicle parked at 198 Blake St. had four tire slashed sometime overnight Oct. 7-8.

A parking gate at the Canal Street parking lot was broken off sometime overnight Oct. 7-8.

Thefts

A blue Jamis Durango Mountain Bike was stolen from behind 101 Strawberry Ave. on Oct. 5 prior to noon.

A residence at 11 Brault St. had firewood stolen from the rear yard prior to 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 5. The suspect backed a pickup truck across the lawn to steal it.

A juvenile was summonsed for theft after he stole a bicycle from the Lewiston Middle School on Oct. 3 at 3 p.m.

A green 26-inch Next mountain bike was stolen from 15 Spofford St. sometime overnight Oct. 5-6. The bike was later recovered at 25 Grove St. after it had been abandoned on a lawn.

A patron of Little Joe’s had their purse stolen prior to 6 p.m. on Oct. 3, it was gold in color and contained a digital camera, credit cards, and a passport.

A 20-inch red, white and blue BMX with an LA Bushido sticker on it was stolen from 183 Webster St. overnight Oct. 5-6.

Burglary

A vacant apartment at 25 Lowell Ct. was burglarized overnight Oct. 5-6, entry was gained by breaking a window.

An apartment at 23 Howe St. was burglarized between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Oct. 5, property was taken from inside.

The St. Mary’s Medical Building at 99 Campus Ave. was burglarized sometime over the weekend Oct. 3-6, several offices were broken into, nothing appeared to have been taken from inside.

An apartment at 11 Tanglewood Drive was burglarized overnight Oct. 5-6.

A residence at 5 Acorn Lane was burglarized sometime between 5 p.m. on Oct. 2-5, no property was taken from inside.

An apartment at 17 Knox St. was burglarized sometime between Oct. 1-4, the suspect forced a door, stole a projection TV, a Dell computer tower, and an Xbox and committed extensive vandalism to the apartment.

Operating After Suspension Arrests

Kenny Scales, 24, was charged with operating after habitual offender revocation and carrying a concealed weapon on Oct. 4 at 1:33 a.m. at Prescott and Oak streets. Officers responded here for a report of an accident.

Flint Irwin, 20, was charged for operating while license suspended and unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs on Oct. 5 at 4:42 p.m. at Chestnut and Lincoln streets following a routine traffic stop.

Joshua Guimond, 24, was charged with operating after habitual offender revocation on Oct. 8 at 5:06 p.m. at 207 Lincoln St. following a routine traffic stop.

Operating Under the Influence Arrests

Lynn Bergeron, 39, was charged with operating under the influence on Oct. 3 at 10:36 p.m. at Russell and College streets. Officers responded here for a report of an accident.

Dale Daft, 33, was charged with operating under the influence on Oct. 6 at 12:02 a.m. at Oak and Blake streets following a routine traffic stop.

Donna Bisson, 41, was charged witih operating under the influence on Oct. 5 at 1:41 a.m. at Bates and Pine streets following a routine traffic stop.

This department is looking for Samantha Burgos, 23. She is wanted on a warrant for unpaid fines for operating while license suspended.

This department is looking for Sharod Bowman, 33. He is wanted on a warrant for unpaid fines for disorderly conduct.

This department is looking for Joshua Blackerby. He is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for operating under the influence.
