LEWISTON – A local man who apparently was stabbed during a confrontation late Monday night was treated at a hospital for minor injuries early Tuesday morning and later released, police said.
Jason Bishop, 28, of 95 Shawmut St. was taken to Central Maine Medical Center after he suffered lacerations during the incident at an apartment at 193 Holland St. at about 10 p.m., police said.
No arrest was made. An investigation is ongoing.
People who gathered at the scene said Bishop was discovered lying at the intersection of Holland and College streets trailing drops of blood and surrounded by a pile of rags and bandages.
