FARMINGTON – A scared tan American Staffordshire terrier mix arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter on Aug. 4.
Staff said she had soft face and timid attitude. She was walked and cuddled and, with time, she picked her favorite staff person. Nicole would walk her daily and, within a week, Sally was excited to see people and greeted strangers with a wagging tail.
Salley is now waiting for her forever person to pick her to be their forever dog. Those interested are invited to visit Sally and all her friends at the shelter. For more information, call 778-2638.
The shelter assisted more than 25 people at its low-cost spay/neuter clinic to end the overpopulation of cats. The next neuter clinic will be Sunday, Nov. 9. For more information, call 778-2638 and speak with Amy.
The shelter is in need a vacuum cleaner. Anyone who has one to offer may contact staff or drop it off at the shelter.
