MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Police say a man who delivers pizza to Manchester, N.H., schools was charged with carrying heroin while on a delivery to a middle school last week.

The Amato’s pizza driver was busted Thursday at the McLaughlin Middle School.

School Superintendent Tom Brennan says Amato’s has suspended the driver, who had no contact with students.

Brennan said he will review the pizza contract and speak to police about the arrest. He’s also reviewing policies about background checks and any other precautions involving contractors who enter a school building.
