Phillip W. Sugg Middle School got the new school year off to a wonderful start with its Open House on Wednesday September 3rd. The evening was divided into three sessions giving each grade level the ability to hear our Principal Rick Green speak along with our wonderful Community Resource Coordinator Monica Millhime, Kathi Yergin, our newly elected Parent Action Group (P.A.G.) President. Other members of the teaching staff were also introduced to all in attendance. Students and their families were give time to visit classrooms and exploratory room during the event. Families had an opportunity to meet teachers and learn about their students’ day a little bit. The P.A.G. invited everyone to enjoy some refreshments in the library. Refreshments were provided by families, members of the P.A.G. and the PWS faculty. This Advocate reporter hopes everyone has a great school year.
