Because of an industrial arts teachers’ retirement, seventh and eighth LMS students have a new industrial arts course taught by Mrs. Allyson White. This new class is STEM which stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. Renovated over the summer, the new computer room adjoins the woodshop where students work on activities involving wood shop, computers, and their minds. One of the projects this fall has been planning, making, and racing a solar powered car.LMS is very excited about this new program.
