Appraisal night

TURNER – The Turner Historical History Museum will have an antique appraisal night at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, on the fourth floor of the old Leavitt Institute building. Jim Talbot, auctioneer of Talbot’s Auctions, will be on hand to do the appraisals. Limit is one item a person. Cost is $5.

Crafts meeting

FARMINGTON – Franklin County Arts and Crafts Association members will meet Tuesday, Oct. 22, to continue plans for the annual Christmas fair.

The meeting will be held in Room 123 of the University of Maine at Farmington Student Center. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an opportunity to meet new crafters and register for the fair, followed by a business session.

It will be the second of three meetings leading up to the fair, which will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Student Center. New crafters are welcome. For information about the association and the fair, call 778-6967.
