FARMINGTON – The Farmington Baptist Church, 144 Whittier Road, will host a concert fundraiser in conjunction with other churches in the area on Saturday, Nov. 8.

A special veteran’s recognition ceremony will take place at 5 p.m., followed by a baked bean supper. Donations collected will be given to the Franklin County Ecumenical Heating Fund for distribution to needy families.

The schedule is as follows: 3 p.m., Patricia Hayden and a hymn sing; 4, the Muellers, a nationally renowned bluegrass Gospel band; 5, veteran’s recognition ceremony; 6, baked bean supper; 7, Greater Purpose; 8, Unite Ignite; 9, Widow’s Mite.
