LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating the theft of five small electric motors from a first floor apartment on Pleasant Street.

The burglary was reported to police Tuesday night, but it is believed to have occurred Sunday while the occupant was away, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Entry was gained through a window, which was not damaged, he said.

The motors didn’t work, but the owner planned to strip them for copper to sell, Steward said. They were valued at $60 total.
