The School Beautification and Home Room Committees at Dirigo High School in Dixfield ran a contest to design a banner that could be displayed in the school. Junior Susan Strout, above, designed the prize-winning banner that was sent to Custom Banner and Media in North Berwick, which reproduced the original on 48″ x 48″ fireproof fabric.
