Lewiston – Joseph Reginald Roger Beaulieu, 80, of 31 Vivian St., Auburn, died Thursday, Oct. 16, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lewiston on Dec. 11, 1927, a son of the late Ludger and Alma Saindon Beaulieu, he was educated in Auburn schools.

He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at St. Louis Church. Always a very hard worker during his life, he was employed by the Auburn School Department as a bus driver and custodian and worked for 22 years for Coca-Cola Bottling Co., as a salesman. He retired in 1989.

He was a very dedicated husband and father who always did everthing possible to support and provide for his family, making the best home for them he possibly could. He will always be loved, appreciated and remembered by his wife and children as well as his extended family and friends.

Reginald is survived by his wife, the former Theresa D. Meservier of Auburn, whom he married Sept. 1, 1947, at St. Mary’s Church. He is also survived by a daughter, Denise Smith, her husband, Gilbert, of Monmouth; three sons, Daniel Beaulieu and his wife, Deborah, of Waterville, Donald Beaulieu and partner, Edward Libby, of Leeds and David Beaulieu and wife, Janet, of Auburn; his grandchildren, Nicole Rioux of Auburn and Adrianne Rioux of Mechanic Falls, Rebekah Beaulieu of New York and Damon Beaulieu of Waterville, Cindi, Bethany and Heather Beaulieu of Auburn; his great-grandchildren, Taelor Jordan, Justin Harding and Evan Labbe, all of whom he loved very much. He is also survived by a sister, Cecile Tozier of Auburn.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Annette Desjardins, Alliette Theriault and Rita Beaulieu; three brothers, Ludger, Gerard and Lionel Beaulieu. He is predeceased by one grandchild, Benjamin Beaulieu.

He will also be sadly missed by his dog, Anna.
