Why has the Department of Health and Human Services changed the rules for patients in resident care facilities?
It should go after people who are cheating the system, and leave the elderly alone.
Evidentally the state won’t pay the nursing homes for days when a person in resident care leaves to visit family or friends overnight. I don’t know whose idea that was, but that person should find a new job.
The elderly have worked hard all their lives, paying taxes, and now the state cuts reimbursement.
Enough is enough.
It is the public’s tax money paying for the elderly. State officials should go after people who give taxpayers’ money to people who did not earn it. That money should be used for the elderly and good school education.
Leave services for the elderly alone.
