JAY – The wedding of Emily Ann Welch and Kevin Roger LeBlanc was held at 10 a.m., June 28, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. The Rev. Roger Chabot officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. LeBlanc is the daughter of Timothy and Catherine Welch of Fayette. Mr. LeBlanc is the son of Donald and Linda LeBlanc of Livermore Falls.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin strapless A-line gown with beaded metallic champagne lace jacket and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of three miniature red roses with iris carnations and cream freesia.

Linda LeBlanc sang “An Irish Wedding Blessing” as part of the wedding ceremony. Jason Welch, brother of the bride, gave a reading and Tom Welch, uncle of the bride, gave a special reading.

Katie R. Drake was honor attendant for her sister. Bridesmaids were Amy Welch, sister-in-law of the bride, Melissa Pineau, cousin of the bride, and Jackie Floyd, sister of the bridegroom. McKenzie Hardin, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

James LeBlanc performed the duties of best man for his brother. Ushers were Adam Welch, brother of the bride, Jeremy LeBlanc, brother of the bridegroom, and Kendall Floyd, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Ahren Gabryel Hoke, son of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at Murray Hall in Livermore Falls, where Raquelle Hardin, niece of the bride, had charge of the gift table and guest book.

The couple traveled to New Hampshire and the White Mountains for their honeymoon.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and attended the University of Maine at Farmington. She plans to further her education.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and is a master sergeant, serving with the U.S. Air Force stationed in Germany.
