Recently, I decided to contact state Rep. Michael Beaulieu to see if he could help me find some information I had been looking for regarding state regulations. With no hesitation, he assured me that he would look into the matter and get right back to me.

Sure enough, not too long after talking with him, I received detailed answers to all my questions.

Voters send legislators to Augusta to speak for their communities and make decisions that reflect their needs, but state legislators are also meant to make government closer to the people by keeping constituents in touch with issues and information.
