I am supporting Penthea Burns, the Democratic candidate for the House District 70 seat in the Maine House of Representatives (southern Auburn and southern Lewiston).

For many years already, she has served the people of this area as a social worker. In that career, she has shown young people in foster care how to make their experiences heard by the government agencies that affect their lives.

If she is elected to the Legislature, she will do the same for everyone. She will make sure that the experiences, needs and voices of the public are heard when it comes time for the Legislature to act on issues such as health care, renewable energy, public education, and decent jobs.

Penthea Burns will listen to people and work hard for them.
