AUBURN – Shirley Jordan, 74, of Victorian Villa Nursing Home in Canton, died Friday, Oct. 17, at the Hospice House in Auburn. Born in Livermore Falls on March 31, 1934, she was the daughter of the late George and Alexina (Holbrook) Kennedy.

She was educated in Livermore schools, and then went on to Portland Art School, where she studied for several years.

Shirley was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed painting, drawing and going for walks.

She is survived by her son, Michael Jordan of Livermore; daughter, Theresa Bragdon of Leeds; brothers, Thomas Kennedy of New York, N.Y., and Donald Kennedy and wife, Sarah, of Livermore Falls; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Kennedy of Virginia. She also leaves grandchildren: Stephani and Trish Jordan, Benjamin Turcotte and Dustin Bragdon.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Clifford, Bruce, and Kenneth Kennedy.
