The following recalls have been announced:

About 275 Shimano Dura Ace carbon clincher bicycle wheels, manufactured in Malaysia and imported by Shimano American Corp., because the rim surface and spoke-hole plugs can cause the tire’s inner tube to puncture. This could cause a rider to lose control. No injuries have been reported. The wheels were sold by specialty bike stores and dealers around the country between April and August 2008. About 35,500 rechargeable batteries and recharging stations for Didj custom gaming systems, manufactured in China by LeapFrog Enterprises Inc., because the batteries can overheat if the gaming system is put into the base upside down. The company has received 12 reports of overheated batteries, including one report of a minor burn. The batteries and recharging stations were sold at department and toy stores around the country and online at www.leapfrog.com and other Web sites between July and October 2008.
