RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for John P. Zollo was celebrated Friday morning at the Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as the celebrant.

Readings were done by Scott Zollo and Diane Thompson. The poem, “Jack of All Trades,” was written and read by Christine Simmons, granddaughter. The eulogy was given by son, Timothy Zollo. Altar server was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Musical selections were “Maine Stein Song,” “Amazing Grace” and “God Bless America.”

Pallbearers were Russell Thompson, Michael Perry, Perry Luke, Stephen Carew, Jason Berry and Christopher Marr.

Military honors were provided by the Maine Military Honors Program.

Arrangements were under the direction of Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
