It is very disturbing that the mainstream media has openly sided with Sen. Barack Obama in this presidential race. They have forfeited their duty to be objective and therefore have betrayed their public trust.

They sent many reporters to Alaska to dig up any shred of dirt on Gov. Sarah Palin. They found the nation’s most popular governor, a woman who has done a fabulous job for the people of Alaska.

But not as many mainstream reporters went to Chicago to investigate Obama’s suspicious connections.

Or looked into his questionable real estate deal with a convicted felon named Tony Rezko, or checked out his affiliation with his spiritual mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who spewed vicious and racist anti-American venom from his pulpit.

Not as many mainstream journalists investigated Obama’s ties to William Ayers, a founder of the radical Weather Underground and bomber of the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol. Ayers was a godfather to Obama’s early political career and later hired him to distribute some $100 million to community groups.

Obama gave a big chunk of that money to ACORN, a community organizer operation now under investigation in nearly a dozen states for voter fraud. Later, as ACORN’s lawyer, Obama sued banks to force them to award sub-prime mortgages to people who often had no assets, no job and poor credit. Those types of loans have since wrecked the financial world.

Who gets the blame for that economic catastrophe? Why, John McCain, naturally.
