Following a career as an American history and government teacher spanning four decades, Michael Beaulieu is extremely well-prepared to represent District 68.

During this economic crisis, the public needs legislators who will scrutinize budgets, eliminate waste and make decisions that will protect their constituents.

Beaulieu is that kind of legislator.

As a former colleague, I have always known him to be conscientious and hardworking. He has a keen, analytical mind and a common-sense approach to problems. He will do his utmost to protect the interests of all Maine citizens, and he is not afraid to cross partisan lines to get things done.

Voters in his district should bring him back for another term. He is needed in Augusta.
