High winds kept Central Maine Power Co. crews busy Saturday night into Sunday as widespread outages left about 7,350 customers without power.
A representative at the CMP communication center in August said that the power outages started around 8:30 p.m. and lasted into Sunday morning. Most stemmed from downed trees and power lines.
As of late Sunday night, there were still about 100 customers in the Rockland area without power.
