GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Darlene McLaughlin Andersen, 50, a resident of Interlock, Fla., and a former resident of Maine, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 23, due to complications from diabetes.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1958, in Portland, the daughter of Clayton and Nathalie McLaughlin.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Lynn Andersen; son, Jeremy Croman; mother, Nathalie McLaughlin; grandmother, Sadie McLaughlin; sisters, Earlene Barger and her husband, Ken, Ann Parsons and her husband, Dave and Patty Wilson and her husband, Dallas; brothers, Brian McLaughlin and his fiancé, Martine and Skip McLaughlin and his wife, Sandy; sister-in-law, Anna Davis; and brother-in-law, Raymond Andersen.

She was predeceased by her father, Clayton McLaughlin; and her mother-in-law, Alice Andersen.
