Between Friday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 a.m. this department has responded to 721 calls for service. Of those calls, 181 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

The Hall & Knight building at 3 Middle St. was tagged with graffiti overnight Oct. 20 to 21.

A Pepsi banner at the Pop Shoppe Diner at 413 Main St. was torn in half sometime overnight Oct. 18 to 19.

The third floor wall of 29 Lowell St. was tagged with graffiti sometime overnight Oct. 16 to 17.

An apartment at 54 Tall Pines Dr. had all of the exterior Halloween decorations destroyed between 5 and 7:25 p.m. Oct. 20.

The rear of Staples at 855 Lisbon St. was tagged with graffiti overnight Oct. 22 to 23.

A vehicle parked at 81 East Ave. had a passenger side window smashed out of it overnight Oct. 22 to 23. The interior seats and dashboard were also sliced with a knife.

A window of the Life Works building at 222 Pine St. was shot by a BB overnight Oct. 21 to 22.

A window at the Longley School at 145 Birch St. was broken by a piece of tar sometime after school Oct. 21.

A vehicle parked at Lewiston High School, 156 East Ave., had a window smashed out of it before 6 p.m. Oct. 19.

A vehicle traveling down Pierce Street had a passenger side window smashed out of it by a piece of tar at 11:40 a.m. Oct. 20. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue sweatshirt.

Thefts

An employee of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services at 200 Main St. had their peacoat stolen at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 23.

A customer of the Big Apple at 248 Main St. had their wallet stolen in the evening Oct. 19.

A vehicle registration plate from Maine numbered 9531NA was stolen from a vehicle parked at 70 Blake St. overnight Oct. 18 to 18.

A vehicle parked at 438 College St. had its Maine registration plate numbered 4903PN stolen from it sometime overnight Oct. 20 to 21.

A specialized mountain bike with L.L. Bean decals was stolen from the driveway of 104 Old Greene Rd. overnight Oct. 20 to 21.

A black 2002 utility trailer with Maine trailer registration numbered A638863 with a green Craftsman LT1000 riding lawn tractor on it was stolen from 27 Marston St. sometime between 2 and 5 p.m. Oct. 17.

A 28-foot Werner extension ladder was stolen from 19 Winn St. sometime overnight Oct. 16 to 17.

Burglary

An apartment at 181 Oak St. was burglarized between 4 and 9:45 p.m. Oct. 21. An Xbox and related equipment were taken from inside.

MV Burglary

A vehicle parked at 384 Main St. was burglarized sometime overnight Oct. 17 to 18. A window was smashed to gain entry, a radar detector was taken from inside.

Two vehicles parked at 20 Tall Pines Dr. were burglarized between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Several vehicles parked at Crestwood Estates at 350 Randall Rd. were burglarized overnight Oct. 19 to 20. A stereo, spare change, credit cards, a red portable air tank, and a Pioneer stereo face plate were taken.

A vehicle parked at the Multi-Purpose Center at 145 Birch St. was burglarized between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22. ID cards and a purse were taken from inside.

A vehicle parked at the Colisee at 190 Birch St. was burglarized before 8:20 p.m. Oct. 21.

A vehicle parked at the Colisee at 190 Birch St. was burglarized before 9 p.m. Oct. 18 and property was taken from inside.

Robbery

A pedestrian walking on Howard Street between Walnut and Pine streets was attacked by two males with a knife and had cash taken from his pocket before 8 a.m. Oct. 22. He described the suspects as a black male who was short and stocky with a buzz cut and facial hair and a tall white male who was thin. The victim suffered minor knife wounds.

MV Thefts

A white 1996 Chevrolet truck with Dragon Products emblems on the doors and Maine commercial registration plates numbered 620837 was stolen from a locked garage at 50 South Ave. sometime in the past week.

A maroon 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe with Maine registration plates numbered 3125QC was stolen from 42 Davis St. between 10 and 11 p.m. Oct. 22. The keys were inside the vehicle.

OAS arrests

Casey Goldrup, 28, was arrested for operating after suspension at 5:12 p.m. Oct. 17.at Cedar and Lincoln streets after a routine traffic stop.

Brandon Vermette, 20, was arrested for operating after suspension at 5:55 p.m. Oct. 23 at 151 Horton St., after a routine traffic stop.

OUI arrests

Jason Hesketh, 22, was arrested for operating under the influence at 10:40 p.m. Oct. 17 at Spring and Holland streets, after a routine traffic stop.

Chester Leet, 43, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating after suspension at 12:27 a.m. Oct. 18 at 692 Sabattus St., after a minor accident.

Ronnie Walker, 45, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating while license suspended at 1:11 a.m. Oct. 19 at Knox and Birch streets, after a routine traffic stop.

Tammy Hesketh, 28, was arrested for operating under the influence at 2:32 a.m. Oct. 19 at 1 Andrews Road, after a routine traffic stop.

Carol Sleeper, 49, was arrested for operating under the influence at 8:49 p.m. Oct. 21 on Lisbon Street, after a citizen called to report erratic operation of a motor vehicle.

Warrants

This department is looking for Nicole Laviolette, 25. She is wanted on a warrant charging disorderly conduct.

This department is looking for Nashua Nelson, 18. He is wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear for criminal mischief.

This department is looking for Denis Wotton, 46. He is wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear for operating after suspension.
