Dave Duguay of Byron is a county commissioner candidate. I served as Byron Town Clerk for 18 years.

He’s a great asset to our community. Whenever the town needed assistance, he’s given his time without end. He does the same for this county.

He recently withdrew from his party. He wanted to make the best decisions for the people, rather than the best decisions for his party.

It takes courage to break away from the backing of a political party. You lose support and financial backing around election time. But he felt so strongly about serving the people of Oxford County, that he gave up the party support and is campaigning alone, mostly with money from his own pocket.

I support Dave Duguay because he’s doing what’s best for the people in our county.

That’s something you rarely see in candidates these days.
