On Nov. 4, residents of House District 69 (Auburn) will elect one of four candidates on the ballot.
Dana Coffin has had public and private employment. If elected, at least one temporary private sector job will be created while he is serving.
As a former Latin teacher, not a lawyer, he is a plus for constituents and will be a strong voice. He will put people ahead of party machines and special interests.
He knows what work is, and knows how to do it. He has supported himself and is paying off his and his wife’s student loans.
He is running against two defeated former Democratic legislators. Did they earn the right to be re-elected? They were defeated before.
It is time to elect Dana Coffin, who is willing to take people’s concerns to Augusta and make Maine a better place for people to work, live and play.
