Are you looking for a fun, entertaining, but really truly scary place to visit around Halloween? Well, to answer your question, I am happy to present to you the perfect place to visit for the Halloween Season that matches all of the criteria listed above. That place that I am writing about is Jaycees Haunted House, which will be located this year at the Old Winery on 511 Water Street in Gardiner, Maine.

Jaycees Haunted House is a fun, student-built, haunted maze, presented every year by Augusta Area Jaycees, this year constructed by Monmouth Academy’s Class of 2010. As Junior Co-President, along with Co-President Corey Dyke, we can assure you that this year’s haunted house will be one of the most exciting, awesome, and scariest years ever put to test! We strongly encourage you to bring along your friends, parents, siblings, classmates, peers, and even your teachers to brave the huge, walk-through horror show! We assure you that even the most courageous person will be spooked, but wanting to return again and again.

The dates of the Haunted House are from Friday, October 24, 2008 to its last day being the night of Halloween itself, Friday, October 31, 2008! Hours of operation are from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m, or until the last person in line passes through on those specified nights. Admission is $8.00 for all ages. Mark these dates into your calendars and be sure to spread the word once again along to your friends, parents, siblings, classmates, peers, and teachers about this huge event! We want your Halloween to be a scary one, and you will only get that at Jaycees Haunted House in Augusta!
