ORONO (AP) – The University of Maine says a student has been arrested following a vandalism spree that included a broken pane of glass at the Orono campus arts center.
UMaine spokesman Joe Carr says the weekend damage also includes a knocked-over fence and windows in other campus buildings. The 5-by-12 pane of glass in the arts center will cost $8,000 to replace. The arts center is being renovated.
Carr says 19-year-old Kyle Alan Little was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and refusal to submit to arrest. Little also was summoned for consumption of alcohol by possession.
