I voted yesterday for Peggy Dwyer to represent District 81, comprised of Leeds, Livermore, Livermore Falls and Wayne, in the Maine Legislature. Having served for four terms, I am convinced that Peggy Dwyer will be best suited to more appropriately represent the hardworking people of this rural area. I think she will bring a good balance with respect to jobs, health care, the environment, forests and farms with good conscience, character and energy.

She respects and participates in this election as a Clean Elections candidate. Her opponent does not and is mistaken when he bills his campaign as a “truly clean campaign.” Clean Elections was championed by organizations such as the Maine Council of Senior Citizens, League of Women Voters, Maine AFL-CIO, AARP, Dirigo Alliance and others to take away the appearance of special interest funds overpowering the common citizen’s ability to wage a fair campaign.

Vote for Peggy. She’ll be great.

Randall L. Berry, Livermore
