Ronald Reagan’s “War on Drugs” ignored constitutional rights; earned profit for the “Corrections Corporation of America” and the Colombian military; created a huge deficit; and failed to solve the drug problem.

George W. Bush’s “War on Terror” ignores constitutional rights; earned profit for Halliburton, Veritas Capital Fund and Dynacorp; has put us into debt; and alienated our allies.

Republicans pushed “family values” and the women’s role as mother and homemaker yet chose a woman running mate knowing voters were ready for Hillary Clinton. Todd Palin, the Alaskan secessionist, is the real power behind former beauty queen Sarah Palin’s throne.

Republicans have overseen a massive redistribution of wealth; more children live in poverty, there are more working poor and uninsured, the middle class is disappearing, and the rich are richer.

Now, using distortion and lies, Republicans are encouraging hatred and fear to retain their power and profits.

I’m voting for Barack Obama.
