I am writing to express my deep appreciation for the hard work and dedication Rep. John Patrick of Rumford has shown the people of his district and the citizens of Maine during his eight years in the Maine Legislature.

Rep. Patrick and I have co-chaired the Citizens Trade Policy Commission since it was created by the 121st Legislature, and his commitment to improving the lives of Maine people has inspired all of us who have worked with him.

While termed out from the House, he is now running for the Oxford County Commission. County residents have the opportunity to continue to be well served by this hard-working and straight-talking public servant by electing him as commissioner on Nov. 4.

I sincerely hope voters will once again support John Patrick on Election Day.
