On Nov. 4, I will be voting for former state representative and Auburn city councilor Belinda Gerry to be my state representative. She has proven to be an effective public servant and not your usual brand of politician where the position goes to their head.

She is hard working, treats people with respect and shows she really cares about her constituients. To her, being state representative isn’t just another job but rather how she can work to help her constituents meet their needs when they need direction, help find solutions to their problems or just be someone who will listen.

She has proven to be unafraid to speak up on issues that are important to Auburn residents. She does her homework and has shown that she will vote on the merits of an issue and not just blindly follow others.

Vote for Belinda Gerry for state representative.
