LISBON FALLS – The annual Lisbon Thanksgiving Community Dinner is being sponsored this year by the town. The town decided to pick up the annual event when the local Rotary Club disbanded earlier in the year.
The dinner is open to any person who will be alone on Thanksgiving or for those who want to socialize with friends.
The dinner will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, at the Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill Ave. There will be a home made dinner with entertainment and door prizes. Transportation will be provided for those who need it, and home deliveries will be available upon request for the inbound who are not able to join the festivities.
For more information, contact Rosie Bradley at 353-3000, ext. 122, or e-mail [email protected]. RSVPs are required by Thursday, Nov. 20, with indications given for transportation and home deliveries.
