LITCHFIELD – Gary and Denise Sweet of Litchfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Anna Denise Sweet of West Hartford, Conn., to Brian Gerard St. Pierre of Waltham, Mass., son of Michael and Rachel St. Pierre of Lewiston.

Miss Sweet is a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and Pennsylvania State University. She is studying to become a dentist and is currently in her third year at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Conn.

Mr. St. Pierre is a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and the University of Maine. He is a strength and conditioning coach and nutritionist and is currently employed at Cressey Performance, an athletic training center in Hudson, Mass.

The wedding will be held Oct. 10, 2009, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston.
