AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Jessica Lynn Thistle and Justin Warren Smith, both of Auburn.

Miss Thistle is the daughter of Lynn Sheloske of Auburn, and Larry Thistle and stepmother Barbara Thistle of Auburn. She is a 2000 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Maine. She is employed as a family consultant for Kids Peace National Centers of New England.

Mr. Smith is the son of Julie and stepfather Keith Beaule of Minot, and Warren and stepmother Bonnie Smith of Greene. He is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and is a self-employed carpenter.

A Sept. 26 wedding will be held at 5 p.m. at All Souls Chapel in Poland Spring.
