PARIS – The Paris Pubic Library offers storytime for preschoolers at 10 a.m. Thursdays. The programs include sharing stories and a craft related to the story theme.

On Nov. 13, storytime will teach how some animals survive the winter by hibernating, then children will color a bear and its cave.

On Nov. 20, the theme will be “Thanksgiving Thoughts.” Participants will color and assemble a turkey as a holiday decoration.

On Dec. 4, stories about snow will lead to decorating an evergreen tree with cotton ball snow.

On Dec. 11, Cynthia Rylant’s Henry and Mudge stories will be shared with a color sheet of Mudge.

On Dec. 18, holiday stories will be read with a yule-time craft.

In a special program on Saturday, Dec. 20, Santa Claus will visit the library from 1 to 3 p.m. to visit with children and read a story.

The programs are free and open to all preschoolers in the community. For more information, contact the library at 743-6994 or e-mail [email protected].
