LEWISTON – Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice’s Lewiston office, 15 Strawberry Ave., will be a conference site for the national video presentation sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on Saturday, Nov. 22.

Now, in its 10th year, the goal of National Survivors of Suicide Day is to connect survivors with others who have experienced the tragedy and to provide support, healing and information.

The conference will feature remarks by a panel comprised of suicide survivors and health care and mental health professionals. It will offer emotional support and information about resources for healing.

There is no cost to participate.

Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., with the national video panel starting at 1.

A short discussion with local providers will follow, and if participants wish, support sessions will be held following this discussion period.
