LEWISTON – Edna Grace Alden, 97, a resident of Taylor Hill Road, Lewiston, died Sunday, Nov. 2, at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born on May 6, 1911, the daughter of Frank G. and Bertha May (Hodsdon) Conant. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1930 and Farmington State Teachers College in 1932.

She taught at the elementary level in the school systems of Leeds, Greene and Auburn. On Aug. 28, 1936, she married Ralph Wesley Alden.

She was predeceased by her husband on July 30, 2000; and their son, David Ralph Alden in 1993.
