HOOKSETT, N.H. (AP) – A 14-year-old Chichester girl was killed when the car she was riding in crashed in Hooksett, N.H.
State Police say 51-year-old Denise Gray of Chichester was headed south on Route 3 around 6:30 Monday evening when she swerved around a car that was stopped in front of her waiting to turn. Police say Gray lost control of her car, skidded sideways across the double yellow line and hit an oncoming pick-up nearly head on.
Fourteen-year-old Marissa Gray, who was riding in the car’s front passenger seat, was killed.
Police say both drivers suffered moderate to serious injuries.
