FARMINGTON – Anita Bailey, 92, of Farmington, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Sandy River Center for Healthcare.

She was born Sept. 27, 1916, in Augusta, a daughter of Odilon (Ben) and Maximelliane (LaVallee) Poulin. She was educated in parochial schools in Augusta. She enjoyed quilting, music, dancing and eating out.

She is survived by six daughters, Jeannine Rusgrove of Branford, Conn., Phyllis Berry of Canton, Merlene Bentley of Limington, Marcella Savage and Priscilla Higgins, both of Farmington and Sheila Jalbert and her husband, Dan, of Phillips; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Dutil of Augusta; two sons, Bill Bailey of Avon and Malcolm Merrill and his wife, Margrit, of Dayton; 32 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three husbands; one daughter, Sylvia Howe; one son, Joseph Paul Dutil; nine brothers; and three sisters.
