The New York City-based indie trio GrooveLily will open L/A Arts’ 2008-09 concert season at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston. Together, keyboardist Brendan Milburn, left, electric violinist Valerie Vigoda and percussionist Gene Lewin produce a sound that is a little pop, rock, jazz and a bit classical, with a lot of theater mixed in. Tickets for reserved seating are $24 and $19. Tickets may be purchased online at www.laarts.org or call 782-7228.
