LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Nov. 3 with 24 members present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and for the men and women in the armed forces.

Reported on the sick list were Dora Slovak, Marie Leblanc and Lois Gordon. Gordon will go to a nursing home upon her release from the hospital. It was reported that member Gloria Dalessandro’s husband has died.

A Scotch auction will be held Monday, Nov. 12, and members are asked to bring whatever they want for it.

It was voted to have a Thanksgiving meal on Monday, Nov. 17.

Cookies were brought in by Maggie Dufour, Gerry Richards and Fern Doiron. The 50-50 was won by Athanase Couture.

The meeting was adjourned and games were played.
