LEWISTON – The November Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce breakfast program will feature Dr. Ben Lounsbury, who will discuss the prevention of the spread of viruses in the workplace. Sponsored by the Community Credit Union, the meeting will be held at Martindale Country Club on Beech Hill Road in Auburn at 7:15 a.m. on Nov. 13. Call 783-2249 to reserve a spot. There is a nominal fee for attendance.

A 1975 graduate of Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, Lounsbury is an ear, nose, and throat specialist practicing with Otolaryngology Associates in Lewiston. He is also widely known for his award-winning film short, “Why Don’t We Do It In Our Sleeves?” promoting the proper coughing and sneezing techniques to avoid the spread viruses among the population.

Chamber members in the spotlight this month are Auburn-Lewiston Breakfast Rotary Club, CounselInc., Design Matters, The Gourmet Needham Company, St. Mary’s Health System, and Auburn Winterfest. Each “Spotlighter” will showcase its business to attendees before and after the breakfast.
