SABATTUS – Lauren Cox and Michael Flanagan were married July 18 in an intimate ceremony at the rural family home of the bride in Sabattus. Friends and family surrounded the couple. The Rev. William Warner of Milo, a life-long friend of the bridegroom, officiated.

Music and song was performed by Kelly Bisson, a close friend of the couple. Several selections from the word of God were presented by the younger sister of the bride, Allison Cox. The bride’s father then bestowed his blessings on the couple as they became husband and wife.

Mrs. Flanagan is a 2007 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is the daughter of Walter and Adele Cox of Sabattus.

Mr. Flanagan is a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle and is the son of Pamela Flanagan and the late Terence Flanagan of Milo.

The couple is currently residing in Auburn.
