AUBURN – Funeral services honoring the life of Guy F. Donohue were held Saturday afternoon from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with the Rev. Joseph Daniels presiding.
During the service, words of remembrance were read by Pat and Mike Lessard as well as a poem in honor of Guy’s life.
Following the service, the U.S. Army Honor Detail played taps and presented our country’s flag on behalf of a grateful nation to Guy’s wife, Pat, for services rendered by her husband to his country during World War II.
Burial will be private at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. At the conclusion of services, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
